CBD oils are typically used as a tincture and placed under the tongue with a bottle dropper. Although the dosage is recommended to be limited to just a couple drops, some use much more. When the oil contains more THC than expected, people experience different results than they wanted.
Spain has enacted legislation making it legal to cultivate 25 different strains of hemp. They have stipulated, however, that the dried hemp product is only allowed to contain no more than 0.2% THC.
It’s also important to note that other EU Countries consider CBD oil an illegal substance, so if you purchase CBD oil in one of the three countries mentioned above, make sure you do not take it out of those countries. Like it or not, these fines are definite money makers for local governments, so taking the gamble on not getting your luggage checked is up to you, but please consider this a friendly warning.
Fines and penalties in Spain can be significant for anyone in possession of CBD oil.
The Difference Between These Alternatives from CBD Oil
First, a special, complicated process is required to extract and separate the CBD from the other cannabinoids. This is critical, and because it is a specialized skill set, it is why there are so many differences in how CBD oil is created.
Spain is one of the most liberal hemp production countries in the EU – right behind the Netherlands….Read more…
If you don’t want to risk the legal ramifications of CBD oil, here are a few different options you may want to consider:
What Kind of Fines?
More importantly, bringing CBD oil into Spain from another country would officially be considered drug trafficking and would definitely result in hefty fines and jail time.
Interestingly, the EU regulation is managed at each local level, so not all countries adhere strictly to this legislative mandate.
Several recent findings suggest that targeting the endogenous cannabinoid system can be considered as a potential therapeutic approach to treat Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The present study supports this hypothesis demonstrating that delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or cannabidiol (CBD) botanical extracts, as well as the combination of both natural cannabinoids, which are the components of an already approved cannabis-based medicine, preserved memory in AβPP/PS1 transgenic mice when chronically administered during the early symptomatic stage. Moreover, THC + CBD reduced learning impairment in AβPP/PS1 mice. A significant decrease in soluble Aβ42 peptide levels and a change in plaques composition were also observed in THC + CBD-treated AβPP/PS1 mice, suggesting a cannabinoid-induced reduction in the harmful effect of the most toxic form of the Aβ peptide. Among the mechanisms related with these positive cognitive effects, the anti-inflammatory properties of cannabinoids may also play a relevant role. Here we observed reduced astrogliosis, microgliosis, and inflammatory-related molecules in treated AβPP/PS1 mice, which were more marked after treatment with THC + CBD than with either THC or CBD. Moreover, other cannabinoid-induced effects were uncovered by a genome-wide gene expression study. Thus, we have identified the redox protein thioredoxin 2 and the signaling protein Wnt16 as significant substrates for the THC + CBD-induced effects in our AD model. In summary, the present findings show that the combination of THC and CBD exhibits a better therapeutic profile than each cannabis component alone and support the consideration of a cannabis-based medicine as potential therapy against AD.

Research has shown that humans tolerate CBD quite well. In one study conducted in 2011, it was found that the human body can take CBD in doses as high as 1,500mg/day. This is a very high dosage compared to what people typically use. This means the standard CBD doses are safe because they are less than what the body can tolerate. CBD will be safe for you, provided you use it in recommended doses and as instructed.
